EDUROAM
(Education Roaming)
is a secure WiFi service. Roaming users that are visiting a partner institution are able to connect to eduroam WiFi using the same settings and credentials that are using in their home institution, without any formalities in the
host institution. Eduroam is an infrastructure based on a federation of RADIUS servers and 802.1x authentication. The network of institutions that are partner of eduroam is available on

- Employees and post-docs of this institute (internal users).
- Guests from institutions that are partners of the eduroam project (external users).

- The Data Protection Officer (DPO) is Avv. Silvia Misirocchi.
- The service is available only for teaching, scientific research and user support purposes.
- Access logs are kept for 6 months. Access logs contain date, time, MAC address and IP addresses. These logs are available to system administrators, and are used to investigate security issues.
- Using this service, the users automatically accept the Acceptable User Policies (AUP) of GARR.
